Generation One
LSC vs Base Model
The first generation of Mark VIIIs were produced from 1993 until 1996. LSC Models were only produced in 1995 and 1996. THERE ARE NO 1993 or 1994 LSC MODELS. Yes, I am aware that CARFAX labels them as LSCs, and that the registration cards say LSC on them, but they are NOT LSC models. None of the features that make up an LSC model were available in '93-'94. Almost all of the features that are standard on an LSC can be added to these years, so you need to watch out for fakes.
The 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC
Starting in 1995, in an effort to gather a younger audience into Lincoln showrooms, the LSC model was added to the Mark VIII lineup. Ford added 10 horsepower and 10 ft-lbs of torque by installing a true dual exhaust, and quickened low-end acceleration by changing the rear axle ratio from 3.07 to 3.27. The interior gained perforated leather sections in the seatbacks and bottoms. Handling was stiffened by revalving the shocks. The chrome strips running around the perimeter of the car are gone, and 10-spoke directional alloy wheels replaced the standard lacy-spoke wheels, giving the car a much sportier appearance. Near the end of the production run, HID headlights were added to the package. Lincoln put a cap on 1995 LSC production at 5000 units.

The LSC option package continued into the 1996 model year with minimal changes from the 1995 model. All of the changes made to the base model were also on the LSC. HID headlights became standard on all LSCs. LSC models carry a special interior color designation, allowing a documented means of authenticity. Production totals at this time are unknown.
