Eastern Regional meet of the Lincoln & Continental Owner's Club held
September 15-19, 1999 at the Nevele Grande at Ellenville, New York. This bought
some LOD members together.

meeting between Jack Frakes and Co-President Alexander Sosiak from New York
on January 11, 2000. I know it is only two people meeting, but this was a start.
The first Pacific Northwest Meeting at Seattle International Raceway,
February 2000. Kale and Richard test and tune their first gen Marks.

Maplecrest
New Jersey December 7, 2000. Alexander went to Dave at the parts counter
at Maplecrest Lincoln Mercury to pick up his replacement door panel for his
Collector's Edition. Informal get together with club members Sandy Block and
Steve Triano.
Dana
Point, California January 7, 2001. Alexander met Club members Larry and
Kathleen Knudsen. Larry has a 1998 Collector's Edition in the identical color
combination as Alexander.
Anaheim,
California January 10, 2001. The Southern California get together at the
Radisson Anaheim Maingate Hotel bar. Members Mike Meierle, Don Koleff, Alexander
Sosiak and future member Ron Powell had drinks and shared stories about their
Mark VIII's.
All-Ford
Carlisle June 1-3, 2001. With 30 cars in attendance this was our biggest
meet yet. People came from as far away as Nevada, Texas and Canada!
First
Annual Lincolns on Lincoln Street meet in Long Island New York August 18,
2001.
Toys for Tots show October 20, 2001 in Queens New York. Four LOD members
brought their cars.
Toys for Tots Run November 25, 2001 from Otto Road in Glendale to St.
Mary's Children's Hospital in Bayside. Six club members participated in this
worthy event: Arnold Rosario, Sarah Cameron, William Anderton, Steve Triano,
Ed Cicio and Alexander Sosiak.
All-Ford Carlisle May 31 - June 2, 2002. This is the LOD's biggest event
of the year. We had 46 Mark VIII's, 15 Mark VII's and 10 other Lincolns participating.
The club had a conference at the Camp Hill Radisson on Friday night and an awards
banquet on Saturday night.
Toys for Tots Run November 24, 2002 This charity event is organized by
the East Coast Car Association for needy and sick children in New York City.
The run is from Glendale to Bayside in Queens. The destination is St. Mary's
Children's Hospital. The roads and highways on the run are cordoned off for
the participants in the run. Participants get to go through dozens of red lights
legally. This is the third year that LOD has participated in this event.
